Windows app - How to troubleshoot the "Something Unexpected Happened" message.

Users can experience an issue when trying to download the Windows app from the Microsoft Store.  They may receive this error message: 

 

To troubleshoot this, try the following steps: 

1) If you have development mode turned on for your computer, turn it off.  Restart your computer after turning off development mode. 

2) If you are on a VPN network, take yourself off of the VPN. 

3) Check the computer for any updates that may be needed.
